A suspicious caller who might be part of a sex trafficking ring has been trying over and over to get a Polish woman to go back to Portugal, where Madeleine McCann was taken in 2007.
Dr. Fia Johansson, a private investigator, thinks that the woman who called her may be part of the same group that took Madeleine. She may also want to silence Julia Wendell so that she can’t solve the heartbreaking cold case.
Dr. Johansson told Wendell’s first on-camera interview with RadarOnline.com about the shocking alleged kidnapping plot. She said that her team of investigators is trying to find out who made the call.

As a safety measure, she also told police in California, who were already looking into a series of death threats made against Wendell.
“She wanted her to fly to Portugal and be with her, and she told me not to tell Fia Johansson, ‘I talked to you about it, you have a passport, I can buy you a ticket, and you can come to me, all you need is love.'” Dr. Johansson told Samantha Benitz of RadarOnline.com.
Wendell continued, “And this woman said that she had always wanted to have a child and that she could be my mother because I need love and care in my life and she can give it.”
Dr. Johansson later told RadarOnline.com that this is the first time someone has tried to get Wendell to go to Praia da Luz, Portugal, where Madeleine was taken from her parents Gerry and Kate McCann while they were on holiday.
Wendell caused a worldwide uproar when she said she was the 3-year-old British girl on an Instagram account called @IAmMadeleineMcCann, which has since been shut down.
Wendell said that she had freckles on her leg and cheek and a coloboma in her right eye, just like Madeleine, who went missing. She also said the name of the man she says molested her. This man looks a lot like the suspect wanted in the McCann case, as shown in a composite sketch.

Wendell was taken from her home in Wroclaw, Poland, to a safehouse in Los Angeles by private investigator Dr. Johansson. She had been getting death threats after she tried to get her family to give her a paternity test and confronted her abuser, but they refused.
Dr. Johansson told RadarOnline.com that she sent a team of investigators to Portugal because the unknown caller kept trying to get Wendell to leave the safehouse. The caller even said that she could make Wendell rich and famous in Portugal and Brazil because she has a lot of “connections” there.
Then a man, claiming to be a police detective in Portugal, called Dr. Johansson via WhatsApp assuring her that the female caller is legitimately going to look after Wendell.

Dr. Johansson said, “I think this woman is either part of a paedophile ring or was involved in the 2007 kidnapping of Madeleine McCann. She’s so angry that she couldn’t get Julia out of the safe house.”
“She was telling Julia that I was a bad person and that “here in Portugal, everyone loves you, everyone wants you, and we are sure you are Madeleine McCann, and I will take care of you.”
