In the case of Tricia Reitler, her disturbing disappearance puts an end to her dreams of going to college. Tricia was a freshman at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana, when she was 19. She was 19 years old at the time. She was a great student who kept a very good grade point average in her psychology classes.

Tricia was working hard on a term paper for one of her classes on March 29, 1993. She decided to take a break and give her mind a break. So, she went to the grocery store near her dorm to buy a soda and a magazine before going back to her room. She left around 8 o’clock at night, and she never came back.

The Investigation of Tricia Reitler Case

Tricia’s parents were informed of her sudden disappearance and realized immediately that something terrible had occurred. Tricia’s blood-stained clothing was discovered about halfway between the grocery store and her dorm.

There were about five to seven people playing basketball at a nearby school at the time of her disappearance. The cops assumed that someone had witnessed something. However, no one ever came forward.

The investigation was becoming cold as time passed and Tricia was still missing. No one ever came forward with information, and the police had no leads to follow.

The Possible Suspects

Several people were investigated by the police at the time of her strange disappearance. There were a few well-known sex offenders and rapists in the area. This, however, yielded no new information.

However, police believe that a man named Larry Hall is the most likely suspect. Hall was arrested in 1994 for the 1993 kidnapping and murder of Jessica Roach. The police discovered numerous materials related to Tricia’s disappearance while searching Hall’s van.

After these items were brought to Hall’s attention, he confessed to the entire murder and even told the police where Tricia’s body was located. The police, however, found nothing when they searched the area.

Hall later changed his story, and the police were unable to charge him with Tricia’s murder due to a lack of evidence. Hall, on the other hand, is currently serving time for previous crimes.

The police and Tricia’s family remain optimistic about this case. They believe that this case can be solved at any time. The police are still investigating and are looking into every tip about this case that comes in.
