Luz Maida, age 3, had no idea what was going on when her mother woke her up in the middle of the night and shoved her into the arms of strange man.

Aurelia Salinas, the mother, is accused of selling the young child to her drug-dealing boyfriend.

Salinas, 42, allegedly made the deal in exchange for 30 crack cocaine pieces, which were worth about $12.

The next events described by police are truly unfathomable.

Heartbreaking CCTV footage of the unthinkable act, which occurred in Pedro Juan Caballero, the capital city of Paraguay, shows little Luz attempting to free herself from her captor.

The man is seen walking down a muddy path while carrying Luz, who is wearing a blue dress with characters from Disney’s “Frozen” on it.

According to the Sun, he can be seen slapping her with his free hand to stop her fidgeting.

The girl’s body was discovered by horrified neighbors inside an abandoned home just over 24 hours later.

The dealer, who has not been identified, is said to have raped and killed the 3-year-old, according to a report by the Daily Mail, and her body was discovered draped in a shirt and lying on top of a bed.

According to early reports, the 3-year-old was suffocated.

After Salinas allegedly confessed her involvement in her daughter’s murder to police, locals became enraged and attempted to lynch her as she was being taken into custody, according to local media.

The report also stated that her boyfriend later admitted to the murder.

Initially telling police that Luz had vanished while she was sleeping, Salinas later admitted selling Luz for crack cocaine after officers found the CCTV footage.

Along with her boyfriend and a second 17-year-old who is allegedly involved, the 42-year-old was detained.

Police claim that Salinas was using drugs when they searched for her daughter and appeared unconcerned about her whereabouts.

More than 300 locals reportedly showed up for Luz’s funeral, and afterward, a group of neighbors set fire to the home where her body was found.

Investigators have claimed the family had a “history of tragedies” after the mom of eight allegedly allowed her 12-year-old daughter to be sexually abused by a 30-year-old man.

Both cases are undergoing investigation.
