Three people have been charged in connection with a home invasion in Seaford, Delaware, in October. Trent Ingalls, 20, of Milford, as well as a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old from Seaford, were arrested by Delaware State Police. In the case, all three are charged with murder and other offenses.
According to police, they responded to a home invasion on West Stein Highway on October 11, 2022. According to them, two residents were hit by gunfire. Carl Pedone, Jr., 19, was one of those residents who died as a result of his injuries. A 19-year-old woman was able to recover from her injuries.

According to the investigation, five suspects forced their way into the house through the back door. When the suspects entered, they brandished handguns and went straight to the victim’s bedroom, where he and the female victim were, demanding an unknown item. The male victim was shot inside his bedroom, while the female victim was shot while sitting in the same room on a chair. There was also an infant child and two other adults inside the house at the time of the incident. They were not hurt in the incident.
Trent Ingalls and two juvenile males have been identified as suspects, according to authorities. Trent Ingalls and the 17-year-old juvenile male were indicted for murder by a Sussex County Grand Jury on April 24, 2023. On April 26, 2023, the 17-year-old male juvenile was apprehended at his home and taken into custody without incident. Trent Ingalls was stopped by Vermont State Police on April 27, 2023, near Rutland, Vermont, and taken into custody without incident. Ingalls is wanted for extradition. On April 26th, 2023, the 15-year-old juvenile male surrendered to Troop 5.
Two suspects have not been identified at this time.
