26-year-old Sara Ebersole was last seen in Reddick, Florida on March 3, 2023. She Vanished after leaving work and getting into a car with two unknown individuals.
Sara Gail Ebersole, the youngest of seven siblings, was born on September 18, 1996.
Ebersole was raised primarily by her maternal uncle and aunt in Sarasota, Florida. She used to visit her older sister in Dunnellon as a teenager.
Ebersole, then 18, married and moved to Dunnellon with her husband in 2014. The marriage lasted only a year before the couple divorced.
Ebersole was living with a roommate on 19220 Northwest 60th Avenue in Reddick, Florida, at the time of her disappearance, and worked as an exotic dancer.
Ebersole has a daughter who spends most of her time with her ex-boyfriend, the child’s father.
Sara Ebersole left work around 7:00 p.m. on March 2, 2023, and texted her sister, asking for a ride home, but her sister was unavailable at the time. She sent another text at 7:50 p.m., telling her sister to say “hi” to her children.
At 10:11 p.m., Ebersole texted her sister, saying she “was getting into a random truck with some cowboys” and hoping “they took her on a ride.”
Ebersole was seen on surveillance camera shortly after 10 p.m. leaving the Circle K gas station on 17980 North Highway 441 in Reddick, Florida, and getting into a black pickup truck with two unknown males.
Sara Ebersole never returned home and has yet to be found.
Sara’s roommate attempted to file a missing person’s report on March 3, but police told her she had to wait a week. When her family was unable to contact her, they filed a missing person report with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities were able to identify the two males in the black pickup truck Ebersole was last seen entering. They were both interviewed, but no additional details have been released.
Authorities later stated that Ebersole was last seen getting into a blue sedan, possibly a Hyundai, in the early morning hours of March 3, 2023. Authorities will not say whether they have found the blue sedan or its owner, citing the ongoing investigation.
According to her sister, one of the two men’s roommates claimed that Ebersole went to their residence that night and they were all hanging out until 3:00 or 5:00 am when she left on her own in a blue vehicle.
The investigation into Sara Ebersole’s disappearance is still ongoing. Sara’s disappearance remains unsolved, and her case is currently classified as missing. Her case is still unsolved.
