Gretchen went to My Way Lounge & Restaurants, a bar at 501 Juliana Street, after going to the Front Row Bar.
Surveillance cameras caught Gretchen leaving the My Way Lounge with an older man at 3 a.m. on December 4 and heading toward his car, a black Nissan Rogue 1 Sport SUV. Because his car was in the way, the video didn’t show them getting in.
Gretchen never went home, and nobody knows where she is now.
On December 12, 2022, her family told the Parkersburg Police Department that she was missing because they couldn’t get in touch with her.
Investigation of Case
Gretchen Fleming left her phone and purse at The Front Row, which is at 4000 Emerson Avenue in Parkersburg, West Virginia. It was another bar she went to earlier that night.
When police asked the man Gretchen was seen leaving with, he said he drove her somewhere but didn’t know where she went. There is no evidence that they had met before that night.
Several surveillance cameras caught the man’s car going from the bar to his home, which was about two miles away.
The police think that Gretchen left with the man and went back to his house. Even though he says she didn’t make it to his house, he admits that she was in his car that night.
Since then, the police have searched his house, car, and electronic devices based on search warrants. The man, whose name has not been made public, is being looked into as a possible suspect in Gretchen’s disappearance.
