Madeleine McCann vanished in Praia da Luz, Portugal, nearly 16 years ago. Her parents have shared some information that caused them to become concerned for the girl and shared a fact that was allegedly missed in 2007.
Kate McCann, the mother of Madeleine, thinks that the Ocean Club restaurant’s reservation book has something to do with her daughter’s disappearance.
While having dinner at around 20:30, the child’s parents took turns checking on their daughter every 20 or 30 minutes. At 2:00, however, they realized Madeleine was no longer in the bed.
Kate complained to The New York Post that anyone working at the restaurant knew the children were alone in their rooms while their parents ate dinner. The group had reserved the same table with the best view of the apartments previously.
“To my horror, I saw that, no doubt in all innocence and simply to explain why she was bending the rules a little bit, the receptionist had added the reason for our request: we wanted to eat close to our apartments as we were leaving our young children alone there and checking on them intermittently,” she wrote in her book ‘Madeleine: Our Daughter’s Disappearance.
