Michael Bryson, 27 years old, was last seen on August 5, 2020 in the Hobo Camp roadside campground off Brice Creek Road near Dorena, Oregon. Michael reportedly wandered away from a group of friends around 4:30 a.m., and it’s unclear where he was going. Michael hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Details of Disappearance
Michael dropped by his parents’ house in Harrisburg, Oregon, on Monday, August 3, and informed them that he was leaving for a week-long birthday party/camping trip with a friend.
Michael and his friend Ben left Eugene at 8:30 p.m. and drove to the Hobo Camp campground off Brice Creek Road, just west of Champion Creek Road near Dorena, Oregon.
On August 4, around 11:30 p.m., Michael’s friend Ben went to bed. This is Michael’s last confirmed sighting.
Michael reportedly wandered away from the campground at 4:30 a.m. on August 5, but it is unknown where he went.
He left his camping gear at the campground, turned off his phone, and hasn’t accessed his bank account since. Family members reported Michael missing when he did not return home.
The Lane County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating the case. Horses, drones, and hundreds of rescue volunteers searched the campground near Dorena, but turned up few clues as to Bryson’s whereabouts.
Appearance of Bryson
Michael Bryson, a Caucasian man, is 27 years old. He is 6’2″ tall, 180 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. He has a pierced nose.
Michael has several tattoos, some of which are shown below. Hands shaking on his rib cage, a bear on the back of his arm, an elephant on his right leg, a tree inside a diamond on his lower front leg, and a lion face on his left leg.
He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts and white crocs with rainbows on them.
