Details of Disappearance:
On June 5, 1993, Aron was last seen leaving a party at a friend’s house in Norfolk, Virginia. The gathering was also attended by his brother, who claimed that Aron spent the majority of the time with a free-lance go-go dancer from Newport News, Virginia. The dancer had given Aron a necklace, which he was sporting at the time.
According to his brother, Aron informed the woman that his family owned a boat and that she was welcome to join them on future rides. The majority of the partygoers, including Aron, were drunk at the time. During the course of the evening, according to his brother, Aron left with the dancer. Since then, no one has seen or heard from him.
Aron has a history of drug use and did not complete high school. His parents had recently divorced, and he was experiencing both personal and financial difficulties at the time of his disappearance.
It was not uncommon for him to disappearance for several days at a time. Because of his previous disappearances, his family did not report him missing for several weeks. He did not take any of his personal belongings with him when he went missing, and he did not inform his loved ones or close friends of his plans to leave.
Aron’s case was classified as a runaway because he had a history of leaving his home.
After filing a report with law enforcement, Aron’s father began looking for his son. He went to several bars in the Newport News area and discovered that one of the dancers had a blond boyfriend who matched Aron’s description. According to his father, the girl lived in a trailer park and drove a red Pontiac Trans Am.

Aron’s father couldn’t find the dancer or her vehicle. It is unknown whether or not she was actually involved with Aron Holmes Silverman.
Aron enjoyed fishing and playing the guitar at the time of his disappearance in 1993. When he vanished, he didn’t have his guitar with him.
Aron’s best friend stated that while he argued with his parents, they did not have serious relationship issues and that he did not believe Aron would have gone so long without contacting his family. Following his disappearance, his parents divorced. His case remains unsolved, and he is still considered a runaway.
